Biography

With 60 international matches to his credit, Barry Weitzenberg was the most experienced player on the 1972 U.S. Olympic water polo squad. He had previously been a member of the 1968 Olympic team and won gold medals at the 1967 and 1971 Pan American Games. Weitzenberger graduated from Cal/Berkeley in 1969 with a degree in industrial engineering.
