Erich Altosaar graduated in 1925 from Tallinn Technical School, and also played for Tallinna Voitleja from 1922-27. He was capped 16 times for Estonia in basketball, and captained the team at the 1939 European Championships. In 1944 he was nominated as Estonia’s greatest ever basketball player. He died in a Soviet prisoner-of-war camp.
