Hans Zdražila had the following podium finishes at major championships: 1st in the 1964 Olympics Middleweight class (445.5 kg); 3rd in the 1963 World Championships Middleweight class (422.5 kg); 1st in the 1964 World Championships Middleweight class (445.5 kg); 3rd in the 1966 World Championships Light-Heavyweight class (465.0 kg); 3rd in the 1963 European Championships Middleweight class (422.5 kg); 2nd in the 1964 European Championships Middleweight class (425.0 kg); 2nd in the 1965 European Championships Light-Heavyweight class (460.0 kg); 3rd in the 1966 European Championships Light-Heavyweight class (465.0 kg). He set four middleweight clean & jerk world records from 1963-64.
