Biography

Otto Roehm met Rudolf Tesiny in the lightweight finals at the 1904 Olympics. Though Roehm seemed to be the class of the division, he had a very difficult match with Tesiny and was only awarded the victory on the basis of a decision, citing his superior aggressiveness. He also competed as a welterweight, losing in the third round. He became a US citizen in 1888.
