Biography

Sabit Hadžić was a Bosnian hoopster who played for Yugoslavia at the 1984 Olympics, winning a bronze medal. Hadžić played for Bosna from 1977-84, and helped them win the Yugoslav League three times – 1979-80 and 1983. He was also twice on a Yugoslav Cup winner, in 1978 and 1984. After retiring, Hadžić had a long career as a coach, coaching from 1995 up until his death with multiple clubs in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the former Yugoslavia, Saudi Arabia, and Europe. He coached Bosna to the Bosnian League championship in 1999 and Al-Ittihad Jeddah to the Saudi Premier League Championships in 2013.
