Biography

Maria Sykora won 23 Austrian titles in 400 metres (1967-1971), 800 metres (1968, 1969, 1971, and 1972), cross country (1968-1971), 4×100 relay (1964 and 1970-1973), 4×400 relay (1971 and 1973), 100 metres hurdles (1970), and pentathlon ([100H-SP-HJ-LJ-200], 1970 and 1971).

Personal Bests: 400 – 52.7 (1972); 800 – 2:01.5 (1972).
