René Bonino was a French sprinter who earned 43 international caps. He was French Champion at 100 metres in 1951-52 and 1954. He competed at the 1954 European Championships, winning a silver medal in the 100, as well as the 1952 and 1956 Olympics. Bonino set a French record of 10.5 for the 100 in 1952 and ran on three record-setting French 4×100 relay teams from 1950-56.
