Biography

Barry Jackson had the following podium finishes at major championships: 2nd in the 1962 British Empire and Commonwealth Games 4×440 yards Relay (with Adrian Metcalfe, Robbie Brightwell, and the non-Olympian Bob Setti). Jackson also qualified for the semi-finals of the 1962 British Empire and Commonwealth Games 440 yards, but did not start in his heat. In the British Empire and Commonwealth Games he competed for England.

Personal Best: 400 – 46.5 (1962).
