Biography

Daniel Johansen was Norwegian champion with the javelin for five consecutive years from 1911-15. Before that he already won silver in 1907 and 1908 and bronze in 1910. At the 1912 Olympic Games in 1912 his best placing was seventh in the javelin throw with both hands.

Johansen worked as a clerk in Oslo. With his wife Helene (née Røld) he had two sons and one daughter.
