Biography

Juan Leiva had the following podium finishes at major championships: 2nd in the 1955 Pan American Games 4x100 metres Relay (with Clive Bonas, Guillermo Gutiérrez, and Apolinar Solórzano), 3rd in the 1955 Pan American Games 4x400 metres Relay (with Guillermo Gutiérrez, Apolinar Solórzano, and the non-Olympian Edie). At the 1955 Pan American Games 400 metres hurdles Leiva finished fifth.

Personal Bests: 100 – 10.6 (1953); 200 – unknown.
