Biography

Yugoslav track and field athlete Srđan Savić represented Crvena zvezda in Beograd during the late 1950s and early 1960s. In 1956 Savić won gold in the long jump at the Balkan Athletics Championships with a best effort of 7.32 metres. Four years later he competed for Yugoslavia at the 1960 Roma Olympics, where he ran in the 4 × 400 metres relay. The quartet finished third in their heat to advance to the semi-finals before being eliminated.

Personal Best: 400 – 48.4 (1960).
