Biography

Due to an injury sustained during the sea voyage to Greece, Herbert Kerrigan of the Multnomah AC of Portland, Oregon, failed to do himself justice at the 1906 Olympics. He had won the 1905 AAU title at 6-1½ (1.86) but in Athens he could manage only 5-8 (1.72) to tie for third place. He also competed in the 1906 Olympic pole vault.

Personal Best: HJ – 1.88 (1896).
