Biography

Hurdler Ulrike Urbansky, later wife of decathlete Dennis Leyckes, was eliminated twice in the semi-finals of the 400 metres at the 2000 Sydney and 2004 Athens Olympics. She was also a member of the 4x400 metres relay squad that was eliminated in the heats in 2000. In 1998, Urbansky won the World Cup with the 4x400 relay, and in 2000 and 2007 she won German national titles. She also won several national relay titles in other events.

Personal Bests: 400 – 52.35 (2004); 400H – 54.57 (2000).
