Biography

Emanuel Kudela was a Bohemian professional cyclist who competed at the 1900 Paris Olympics. He reached the third round of the professional sprint, was eliminated in the heats of the professional tandem sprint alongside German Karl Käser, and participated in the professional points race and 3 km handicap race.

Kudela later rode six-day races in Germany, placing ninth at Dresden in 1912 and seventh at Berlin in 1919. He was killed riding a tandem in Berlin when it crashed off the track. During his active career he lived in Berlin as he had no competition in Bohemia.
