He also took home two medals at the World Championships with gold in the 2003 medley relay and bronze in the 2001 100 breaststroke. At the 1999 Pan American Games, Moses won gold in the 100 breaststroke and a silver in the medley relay.

Moses set several breaststroke world records, recording 27.39 for the 50 breaststroke in Austin, Texas on 31 March 2001 and 1:00.29 for the 100 breast in Austin on 28 March 2001. He also contributed to the USA medley relay team setting a world record of 3:33.73 at the 2000 Sydney Olympics.

In short course racing he was even more prolific, setting nine individual breaststroke world records. These were the 50 breaststroke on 22 January 2002 in Stockholm (26.28), three marks in the 100 breaststroke – 58.05 on 24 March 2000 in Minneapolis, Minnesota; 57.66 later the same day in Minneapolis; and 57.57 on 23 January 2002 in Stockholm; and five world records in the 200 metre breaststroke – 2:06.40 in Minneapolis on 25 March 2000; 2:04.37 in Paris on 18 January 2002; 2:03.28 in Stockholm on 22 January 2002; 2:03.17 in Berlin on 26 January 2002; and 2:02.92 again in Berlin on 17 January 2004.

Moses swam at the University of Virginia, winning the 100 and 200 breaststroke events at the 2000 NCAA Championships, where he set short-course world records in Minneapolis, as noted above. He received a degree in sports medicine from Virginia and later served as an assistant coach at the school.

Moses later studied for an MBA degree at the UCLA Anderson School of Management. He co-founded MoJo Marketing & Media, a creative content consulting company.
