Biography

Enrique Abaroa was a Mexican tennis player who played professionally during the 1990s and 2000s. Abaroa achieved a career-best singles ranking of #607 in the world in August 1993 and a doubles ranking of #170 in the world in July 2000. Together with the Australian player Grant Doyle the pair won the junior doubles title at the 1992 French Open. From 1999 to 2003 Abaroa played in eight doubles tournaments on the ATP Challenger and ITF Futures tour, winning six. In 2000 he paired with Alejandro Hernández in the doubles at the Sydney Olympics but they were eliminated in the first round.
