Biography

Egyptian-born John Rogers played for the Oxford University ice hockey team. He appeared in four games at the 1928 Winter Olympics as a goalkeeper, taking turns with William Speechly. In 1929 Rogers played an international between Great Britain and the Canadian team on its way to the World Championships. He was probably a reserve player at the 1930 and 1931 World Championships. At home, he was a goaltender for the London Lions in 1930.
