Biography

Bohumil Steigenhöfer played for SK Zbraslav (1923-27), Slavia Praha (1927-32, 1933-34) and LTC Praha (1932-33) before finishing his career with four seasons with SK Pisek, and in his last season, he briefly played again with SK Zbraslav. Steigenhöfer was a member of LTC when they won the national championship. He also represented Czechoslovakia at the 1930 and 1931 World Championships, and at the European Championships, winning silver in 1926 and a gold medal in 1929. Steigenhöfer was a well-known architect who designed the Stvanice Stadium, the venue of the 1933 and 1938 World Championships.
