Biography

Heinz Wosipiwo had a disappointing appearance at the 1972 Sapporo Winter Games as an East German ski jumper, finishing only 39th on the large hill. His best international moments were in 1972 at the Ski Flying Worlds in Planica and the 1974 Nordic Worlds in Falun, where he won silver medals. Wosipiwo later became a regional coach at the Olympic Center in Klingenthal.
