Biography

Carsten Lömker was a West German flatwater canoeist who won a bronze medal in the K-4 10,000 at the 1987 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships in Duisburg. He also finished fourth in the K-2 1000 at the 1988 Seoul Olympics, partnering Niels Ellwanger. Lömker later coached the Australian national team.

By profession, Lömker became a freelance IT consultant in Australia. He was a proven technology leader with expertise in combining operational knowledge with systems in order to achieve solutions in education and small business.
