Normal Hill, Team, Mixed

The inaugural Olympic podium for the normal hill, mixed team event in 2022 had been Slovenia, ROC (Russian Olympic Committee), and Canada, but for 2026 Russia was essentially banned from competition and Canada did not participate. Germany had been the 2023 World Champion, while Norway reigned in 2025, with Slovenia being top-ranked at the 2025-26 World Cup, albeit after only two events. Nika Križnar (now Vodan) was the only returning medalist from 2022. Norway’s strong team included Anna Odine Strøm, who had already won the women’s individual normal hill, and 2022 individual large hill champion Marius Lindvik.

Slovenia led comfortably in both rounds, taking the gold medal. Team member Domen Prevc would go on to become a double Olympic champion after winning the men’s individual large hill, while his sister Nika would take bronze in the women’s edition. Norway was in third after the first round, despite a tournament-best jump of 104.0 metres from Kristoffer Eriksen Sundal, but edged past Japan in the final round to clinch silver. Strøm and teammate Eirin Maria Kvandal would go on to finish 1-2 in the individual large hill, while Sundal would take bronze in the super team event. Among the bronze medal-winning Japanese team, Ren Nikaido had already taken bronze in the men’s individual event, and would go on to be runner-up in the large hill. Nozomi Maruyama had been the bronze medallist in the women’s individual normal hill.
