Biography

German-born diver Margret Borgs was the mother of Günther and Lilo Mund. She married Arthur Mund, and both participated in the 1928 Olympics, where Margret finished fifth in the springboard event. In the platform event, she was eliminated in the qualification round. Both married and then emigrated during World War II to Chile. The family often returned to Germany as Günther was a member in two swimming clubs at Cologne and Dusseldorf.
