Biography

Ursula Sapp-Möckel participated as a diver at the 1972 München Olympics. She failed to reach the final in the platform event under her birth name Sapp. In 1976 she started with her married name Möckel and was also eliminated in the qualification rounds in both events: springboard and platform. Sapp-Möckel won seven national titles – springboard in 1970-71, 1973-74, and 1976, and platform in 1973-74.
