Biography

At Los Angeles in 1932 Hans Schulze was a member of the German team that came in second and won a silver medal behind Hungary, winning a second silver medal in 1936 at Berlin. In 1952 Schulze was an alternate on the team, but did not play. He won three silver medals at the European Championships in 1931, 1934 and 1938. Schulze coached the German Olympic water polo team at the 1956 and 1960 Olympics, placing sixth on both occasions. Playing for Hellas SC Magdeburg, Schulze was German Champion in 1928-31 and 1933. He played 100 international matches for Germany.
