Biography

Peter Campbell played water polo at U Cal Irvine from 1978-82, leading them to the NCAA title in 1982. He was a four-time All-American in college. Campbell played on the US national team from 1980-92, winning silver medals at the 1984 and 1988 Olympics, gold medals at the 1983 and 1987 Pan American Games, and silver medals at the 1981 and 1983 Universiade. Campbell also competed at the 1986 and 1990 Goodwill Games and the 1983 and 1986 World Championships. He was elected to the USA Water Polo Hall of Fame in 2000.
