Patricia du Roy de Blicquy was born into a family of skiers, with her father, Roland du Roy de Blicquy, founding the Brussels Ski Club. She began skiing in the 1950s, with de Blicquy spending her time living in the French Alps. She narrowly missed out on selection for the 1960 Squaw Valley Olympics, but following her sixth place in the downhill at the 1962 World Championships she finally made the Belgian Olympic team. At the 1964 Innsbruck Games she finished eighth in the slalom, along with 13th in the downhill and 17th in the giant slalom. De Blicquy then competed at the 1966 World Championships but once again missed out on a place on the Olympic team. After retiring she spent her time in the village of Argentière, near Chamonix, and in Bayeux in Normandy, where her son lived.
