Biography

Gerard Leembruggen played singles and doubles at the 1924 Olympics, losing his first match in both events, although he had a first round walkover in singles. Leembruggen played at Wimbledon in 1924-26 and 1934, making the second round of singles in 1924-26. He made the semi-finals of the 1922 Dutch National Championships. Leembruggen played for the Netherlands in one Davis Cup tie in 1933, losing both matches.
