Slavomír Kňazovický had the following podium finishes at the Flatwater World Championships: 2nd 1998 C1 200 m, 3rd 1994 C4 500 m (with Csaba Orosz, Peter Páleš, and the non-Olympian Juraj Filip), 3rd 1999 C1 200 m.
