Biography

Edwin Fullinwider competed in sabre for the United States at the 1920 and 1924 Olympics. He graduated from the US Naval Academy in 1921 and became a career Naval officer, eventually reaching the rank of Rear Admiral. After retiring from the Navy, Fullinwider became director of the maritime cargo transportation conference with The National Academy of Sciences and the National Research Council.
