Biography

Alexandru Roman competed in singles and doubles at the 1924 Paris Olympics. After a bye in the first round of singles, Roman lost in straight sets in round two. He played doubles with Gheorghe Lupu and they fared no better, losing in straights in the round one. The son of noted playwright Moise Ronetti Roman (1847–1908), he was a lawyer by profession.
