Biography

Lance Bade was a trapshooter who competed at the 1996, 2000, and 2004 Olympics, winning a gold medal in trap at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. He was an eight-time national champion in trap and double trap shooting, all earned between 1998-2004.

Internationally Bade won 10 medals at the World Championships. He won three silvers in 1993 team double trap, and the 1998 individual and team trap events. His seven bronze medals were won in 1994 (trap), 1994 (team trap, team double trap), 1997 (team double trap), 1999 (team double trap), 2001 (team trap), and 2006 (team trap). Bade added six medals at the Pan American Games, with four golds in the 1995 trap and team trap events, the 1999 double trap (individual), and the 2003 trap event (individual).
