Biography

Al Lane began his shooting career with the Manhattan Rifle and Revolver Association in New York. He was known as the boy wonder, having won several U.S. Revolver Association (USRA) championships in 1911 when aged only 19. After the 1912 Olympics, he was USRA Champion for three consecutive years. He later worked in the ad department of the Remington Company before leaving to become the head of the photographic department for a magazine publisher.
