Biography
Klara Milch was an Austrian swimmer who won the bronze medal with the 4x100 metres freestyle relay squad at the 1912 Stockholm Olympics alongside Grete Adler, Fini Sticker, and Berta Zahourek. They were the first Austrian female medallists in Olympic history. Milch also competed in the 100 metres but was eliminated in the heats.
Milch married entrepreneur and engineer Gustav Durst in 1912. During World War II the family emigrated to Great Britain as they were Jewish.
