Simona Koch was a German diver who specialized in springboard events. She finished seventh at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics and was eliminated in the semi-finals at the 1996 Atlanta Games, finishing 16th. At European Championships Koch won a medal of each color, winning gold in the 1 m springboard in 1993. Domestically, she won nine national titles, seven individually and two in the synchronized springboard event, partnering with Claudia Bockner in 1997 and Conny Schmalfuß in 1999.
