Biography

Kathy Ellis swam in four events at the 1964 Olympics and won a medal in each. She won a gold and a share of the world record in both relays and her two bronze medals came in individual events. In the 100m freestyle she was only the seventh fastest qualifier, but still took third place from an outside lane.
