Biography

At the 1967 Universiade, Linda Gustavson of Cabrillo College was a medalist in the 100m and 200m freestyle and in both relays. The following year she added to her collection by winning a complete set of medals at the Mexico Olympics. She also won a gold in the freestyle relay at the 1967 Pan-American Games, but despite these manifold successes she managed only one victory at the AAU Championships, when she won the indoor 200y freestyle for the Santa Clara SC in 1969.
