Biography

František Souček was a Czech track and field athlete who represented Sparta Praha and competed for Bohemia. At the 1906 Intercalated Games Souček finished in sixth place in the Greek-style discus throw, 10th in the freestyle javelin throw, and joint-14th in the pentathlon. He participated in the standard discus throw, but his distance was not recorded, and was scheduled to compete in the marathon and the shot put, but did not start in either event. Two years later Souček competed in the discus and javelin throws at the 1908 London Olympics, but again the distance of his throws where not recorded.

Personal Bests: DT – 42.63 (1907); HT – 41.67 (1909); JT – 50.00 (1900).
