Biography

Eivor Olson was a Swedish weight thrower, best known for her efforts in shot put. In addition to her two Olympic appearances, Olson placed fifth in the shot at the 1946 European Championships. She was Swedish champion in the shot put for 14 consecutive years (1943-56), also winning two titles in the javelin (1944-45). In the discus Olson was runner-up five times at the Swedish Nationals.
