Biography

Yury Blinov began playing hockey with CSKA Moskva in 1967 and played there until 1975. He then played one season with SKA Moskva Oblast, before finishing his career with Kristall Saratov in 1977. With CSKA Moskva Blinov won six Soviet titles (1968, 1970-73, 1975) and six European Champions Cup titles (1969-74). Internationally Blinov played with the Soviet team only one season, 1972, winning Olympic gold and silvers at the World and European Championships in that year.
