Austrian bobsledder Christian Mark was a two-time Winter Olympian, in 1984 at Sarajevo and 1988 at Calgary. He competed in both the two- and four-man bob on both occasions. In the two-men bob he partnered Peter Kienast coming 13th and eighth, respectively. With the four-men bob Austria II he placed 11th in 1984 and sixth with Austria I in 1988.
Mark started his sports career as a skeleton pilot, winning the bronze medal at the 1981 European Championships. At World Championships, he won the silver medal with the four-men bob in 1986.
