Biography

Viktor Nikiforov played for several teams during his career, beginning in 1951 with CSKA Moskva, from 1951-53 with ODO Novosibirsk, 1953-55 with Dynamo Novosibirsk, 1955-57 with Dynamo Moskva, and ending his career playing for Spartak Moskva from 1957-60. Internationally Nikiforov won Olympic gold, World and European Championships title in 1956. After his playing career, Viktor Nikiforov worked as a head coach of Metallurg Novokuznetsk.
