Biography

Reinhard Schwarzenberger was an Austrian ski jumper who won a bronze medal with the large hill team at the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics. Individually, he came 11th in the normal hill event and seventh in the large hill event. In 1999, he added another team bronze medal at the World Championships.

Schwarzenberger won two events in the Four Hill Tournaments: 1995 in Oberstdorf and 1996 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The latter year he finished third in the overall rating. In 1998, he was awarded the Decoration of Honor for Services to the Republic of Austria. He later studied economics at University of Innsbruck.
