Description

Saint Kitts and Nevis, officially the Federation of Saint Christopher and Nevis, formed a National Olympic Committee in 1986 which was given official recognition by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in September 1993 at the IOC Session in Monte Carlo, and competed at all Olympic Summer Games since then. The Caribbean nation has not yet competed at the Olympic Winter Games. Through 2016 all of Saint Kitts and Nevis’s Olympians have participated in track & field athletics. Their star competitor has been sprinter Kim Collins, who reached three Olympic finals (100 m: 2000 – 7th, 2004 – 6th; 200 m: 2008 – 6th).
