Snowboarding at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics was held mainly at Genting Snow Park in Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, while big air was contested at Big Air Shougang in Beijing. There were 238 quota spots for snowboarding, 20 less than at the 2018 Winter Olympics.

A total of 11 events were contested, five for men, five for women, and one mixed. The only new event was a mixed team boarder cross event, with teams consisting of one man and one woman.

Thirty (30) nations competed in snowboarding at Beijing 2022, with 230 competitors, 117 men and 113 women. Fifteen countries won medals while seven won gold medals, led by Austria and the United States with three gold medals each, with Canada winning the most medals, with six.

Seven athletes won two snowboarding medals, led by American Lindsey Jacobellis with gold in boarder cross and mixed team boarder cross. New Zealand’s Zoi Sadowski-Synnott and China’s Su Yiming won a gold and silver medal.

Japan’s Tomoka Takeuchi and Italy’s Roland Fischnaller competed at their sixth Olympic Winter Games, the first snowboarders to make that many appearances.
