Diving at the 1924 Summer Olympics

Dates 14 – 20 July 1924
Medal Events 5

The 1924 diving events were held at the Piscine des Tourelles in Saint-Mandé, in the Val de Marne départment of the eastern suburbs of Paris. This was also the site of the swimming events, the water polo tournament, and the swimming section of the modern pentathlon. There were five diving events in 1924, as in 1920. Plain high diving for men supplemented the usual springboard and platform events for men and women, although in 1912-24 the women’s platform was termed the plain high diving event. This was the last time that plain high diving would be held as an Olympic event. United States’ divers won four of five events, losing only the men’s plain high diving to Australian Richmond Eve.
