Format	Three rider teams, all three scores to count. Team/individual competitions held concurrently.

With three of the top four finishers in the individual three-day event, the Netherlands dominated the team competition, winning by almost 500 points over Norway. The Netherlands was also the defending champion, and in 1932 would return to win a silver medal in team three-day. Fourteen (14) teams started this event, with three-rider teams, but only three teams had all three horse/riders finish the event, and Poland won the bronze medal as the third team to do so.
