Baseball is one of the most popular games in Japan and two demonstration games were played during the 1964 Olympics. Both games were played in the Meiji Jingu Baseball Stadium on Sunday, 11 October, the day after the Opening Ceremony. The second game matched an American team against the Japanese Non-Students Team, with the American squad winning, 3-0.
