Alpine skier Heidi Mittermaier, eldest sister of Rosi and Evi Mittermaier, participated with limited success at the 1964 Innsbruck Winter Olympics. She was also a member of the national team at the 1962 and 1966 Alpine Worlds. Domestically Heidi Mittermaier won four West German national titles. She turned to golf in her later years, as did her sisters.
