Haralambie Ivanov had the following podium finishes at the Flatwater World Championships: 1st 1963 K1 4×500 m (with Aurel Vernescu, Vasile Nicoară, and the non-Olympian Anton Ivanescu), 1st 1963 K2 500 m (with Vasile Nicoară), 1st 1963 K2 1000 m (with Vasile Nicoară), 2nd K4 1000 m (with Andrei Conţolenco, Vasile Nicoară, and the non-Olympian Nicolae Artimov), 3rd 1966 K1 4×500 m (with Vasile Nicoară, Atanasie Sciotnic, and Aurel Vernescu).
