Biography

Augusts Kepke studied at the Department of Engineering of the Riga Polytechnic Institute (RPI). In 1912, he competed in the road time trial at the 1912 Olympic Games in Stockholm. He did not finish the race and withdrew near Kungsör, having covered almost half the total distance. His younger brother Kārlis also took part and gave up as early as Södertälje, after less than 40 km. The Russian team was not counted for the team event, as only one member finished the race.
